AIUTIAMO L'OSPEDALE DI LIPARI

In questo momento complesso dal punto di vista sanitario ognuno può fare la propria parte per sostenere gli sforzi dei medici e del personale sanitario.
Per questa ragione, il Comitato "L'Ospedale di Lipari non si tocca", su impulso di un gruppo di cittadini e sentita la direzione dell'Ospedale di Lipari per conoscerne le reali necessità, ha deciso di avviare una raccolta fondi.
In questo momento nel nostro ospedale c'è carenza di mascherine (ce ne sarebbe bisogno di circa 50 al giorno) e sono necessari anche schermi facciali paraschizzo in plexiglass.
L'obiettivo della campagna è acquistare:
- almeno 2000 mascherine
- almeno 50 schermi facciali
Quanto materiale riusciremo ad acquistare ed in quanto tempo dipende da te.
Prima riusciamo a raggiungere la cifra necessaria, prima partirà l'ordine (1-2 settimane), prima potremmo supportare il lavoro di medici e personale ospedaliero di Lipari.

CHI SIAMO E PERCHE’ LO FACCIAMO
Il Comitato "L'Ospedale di Lipari non si tocca" nasce a Dicembre del 2019 per rispondere a constati tagli alla sanità eoliana, che hanno portato l'Ospedale di Lipari sull'orlo della chiusura.
Per sapere qualcosa di più sulla situazione situazione puoi leggere la lettera che abbiamo inviato qualche settimana fa al direttore dell’ASP Messina, prima che scoppiasse l’emergenza coronavirus.
La sanità è un diritto, che nel nostro paese dovrebbe essere garantito a tutti, senza necessità di contributi privati.
Ma questo non è il momento di fare rivendicazioni: è il momento di unire le forze per fare fronte a un'emergenza senza precedenti.

Con l'auspicio che questa crisi sia utile per rivedere le decisioni sbagliate che sono state prese in questi anni, e tornare a consolidare il nostro sistema sanitario che rimane uno dei migliori al mondo.
Questo è il momento per stare uniti ed essere solidali.

In this very difficult moment for all of us, everybody’s help is important.
The citizen’s committee "L'Ospedale di Lipari non si tocca" (“Hands-off Lipari Hospital”), upon consultation with the hospital’s management, has decided to launch a fund-raising campaign to sustain the capacity of health services to respond to the CoVi19 emergency.
At present there are not enough protective face masks for the health personnel (the need is of around 50 per day) and additional safety plexiglass face shields are required.
The funds collected through the campaign is needed to buy:
- at least 2000 face masks
- at least 50 face shields
It depends on you how much equipment we will be able to buy, and how fast.
The sooner we reach the required amount, the sooner we can issue the purchase order (which will take 1-2 weeks to be delivered), the sooner we can support the life-saving work of the hospital’s health personnel.

WHO WE ARE AND WHY WE DO IT
The citizen’s Committe "L'Ospedale di Lipari non si tocca" (Hands-off Lipari’s Hospital) was created in December 2019 to react to the continuous reduction of resources provided to sustain the health services in the Aeolian Islands, which has been threatening the very existence of Lipari’s Hospital.
The right to health should be guaranteed to everybody in our country.
But we know that this is not the moment to raise our concerns. This is the moment to get together and help as much as possible to face this unprecedented emergency.
With the public health system. For the public health system.
We hope that this crisis will represent the occasion to reconsider the wrong decisions taken at national level on health in the past years, and allow to make our public health system, which is one of the best in the world, strong and effective again.
This is the moment to join our efforts and be supportive. Together, we shall overcome.
