If you know Blake and Charissa Ostrom, you know they have hearts of gold. Caring for everyone around them all the time. On September 8th 2018 they got married and were expecting their first baby on December 24th of this year.
On October 10th of this year, their baby girl Evelyn was born at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Almost 2 and a half months premature, she went straight to the NICU, where she will stay until her due date. Things quickly turned worse as the doctors realized Charissa had a volleyball sized mass on her intestine. The tumor was removed and tests were run. News came back of Lymphoma. Stage 1, great news as they thought they had caught it early. Unfortunately when Charissa was transferred to a hospital closer to home, blood work was done and doctors discovered that it was actually Stage 3-B Lymphoma. Blake has been working day in and day out as well as driving to Kalamazoo to see his daughter and then to South Bend to see his wife.
We as his friends have come together to ask for your help in supporting Blake, Charissa, and baby Evelyn. As you know medical bills are not in the least bit forgiving and for a young couple such as Blake and Charissa it could be a burden that can last a lifetime. Anything and everything helps so we ask that you please consider donating to this beautiful family. Thank you for your donations, we greatly appreciate your support.
