Oswaldo Rene Rojas

Many of you know him as Rene Rojas, a member of Local 44.  He was a man who loved his family, friends, and work more than anything.  He was a caring father and a very dependable friend.  Being the social butterfly that he was, Rene always loved to share a good laugh with everyone. He was the kind of guy that would go above and beyond to help those in need. He lead an enriching life, from working in the movie and TV industry to meeting famous celebrities such as Ice Cube, Fluffy, Will Ferrell, Tony Shalhoub and Danny Trejo.  He loved his work and always looked forward for the next project.  It was very exciting for us to hear the many stories that he enjoyed sharing with his loved ones.

Rene fought a hard battle with Cancer but, unfortunately things turned to the worst. On July 22, 2020 he passed away due to complications of cancer on the liver. He had his family by his side every step of the way to make sure he was comforted, loved and supported until his passing. 

We are reaching out to friends, family, co workers, brothers and sisters from Local 44 to help honor a respected family member in any way possible. The funds will be going to the family to help with the cost of Funeral arrangements and services. We hope  to ensure Rene gets the best possible funeral he can get.
