Our Angel Myzelle Law

**Myzelle's Family is humbled by the generosity and support of the community to aid in the medical and funeral cost during this difficult time. They are grateful as the original goal has been met and appreciate the additional support for these cost as well as a foundation/Scholarship in Myzelle's honor moving forward

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Myzelle Law, who became an Angel on Sunday, July 30th. Myzelle is a dear friend of our family and we are organizing this fund with the support of his parents, Paul and Yesenia, during this tragic time to aid in the medical and funeral expenses. They also hope to use these donations to establish a scholarship in Myzelle’s name so that their son’s legacy, passion and dreams can be carried forward.

This world was blessed to have had 19 years with Myzelle, and he leaves us all better just by knowing him. Myzelle touched so many people with his large presence which could only be matched by his enormous heart. His infectious smile and laughter could fill a room. To know him meant you knew the true meaning of love and humility. He was driven in his pursuit of playing football, playing at Blue Valley North High School and in college as a D-Lineman at MidAmerica Nazarene University where he was entering his sophomore year. He was a dedicated son, a loyal brother, a passionate friend, and a disciplined student-athlete who will be missed beyond measure.

Myzelle sustained heat-related injuries on Saturday, July 22nd and was rushed to Overland Park Regional Medical Center where the entire healthcare team worked with care and purpose for over a week to help him. Unfortunately, after a strong fight, God called him home on Sunday to be at peace with the Angels. We know that he will continue to watch over all of us with his love from afar. As a final blessing from Myzelle, his organs will be donated so that his light can help others in need as it was his caring generosity that truly defined the man he was to each of us fortunate enough to know him.

Finally, we ask that in addition to your donation, you continue to honor Myzelle by choosing to see the good, offering kindness and spreading joy to others as that is what Myzelle did every day.
