Our Baytown Broncos Trailer Was Stolen
Donation protected
Friday, August 26th or early Saturday, August 27th morning OUR CLUB TRAILER WAS STOLEN from our practice fields. Despite the locked gates and safety locks on the trailer, someone took it upon themselves to go onto private property and steal what contained the majority of the assets our club has saved up for and purchased over the last 7 years. If you drove down N. Main on any given day, you knew that Baytown Youth Fairgrounds was home for our youth to practice and prepare for their season. We are at a loss as to why anyone wanted to take from our kids.
We have built an inventory of tackling dummies , field equipment , helmets, shoulder pads, tables, tents, coolers, all things concessions needed, speakers, our spirit sales gear, etc since 2016 and the mass majority of it has been stolen. Truth be told not all things are typically in the trailer. It’s in between our storage unit and our homes.
However, Saturday, August 26th was our first game of the season and it was HOME. The trailer was strategically organized and packed up with all the necessary items for a successful game day Friday afternoon to be pulled to the game across the street at GCM bright and early the next morning.
We don’t know why anybody would do this to our kids but as an organization that has worked so hard to buy what is needed for the teams, we are truly devastated. We will work diligently on replacing what we can as soon as possible for our kids.
