Help our beautiful boy Lenny fight cancer

At only 8 years old, Lenny still has so much to give. He's been a loyal friend and member of our family since he was a puppy. He's been through everything with us, celebrating the highs and supporting us through the lows.

Now it's our time to support him.

We were concerned to find a lump on Lenny's hip im late 2024. We took him to the vet to get it checked and they weren't too concerned at first. Being cautious, we opted for surgery to remove the lump for examination.

The results were a bit of a surprise, he had a mast cell tumor!

We were advised to have a second surgery to remove an extra margin around the tumor site.

The results came back and weren't ideal. The cells appeared to be more aggressive than first thought and there is a chance of some still being in there.

We have now been referred to an oncologist who will be better able to advise on the next steps of treatment.

They have already suggested that a CT scan may be required to ensure that there is no spread to other parts of the body. Following that we could be looking at a course of chemotherapy.

Aside from this Lenny is in really good spirits at the moment, he's loving his cuddles and scratches. He enjoys his walks and laying in the sun. And he adores our two young kids, who he follows around all day.

We have never asked for any help like this before, but unfortunately the costs are already stretching us past our limits. We really want to do our very best for Lenny and provide him with every opportunity to continue enjoying his life. If there is anything you could spare we would be forever grateful.
