Our Beautiful Highland Cow, slipped and drowned

Hello, this is Michelle. We had devastating loss this week. Our 5 year old Scottish Highland Cow slipped and drowned in the creek. She was almost full term with second calf. We started our Fold 5 years ago. Highland live a long life, we never expected this loss. The replacement cost is more than double, because they are so loveable and in demand. People love to visit our little Farm and see the Coo. It’s heartbreaking that we should have had new Calf in a few weeks. Now we are starting over.
