Our Beautiful, Loveable, kind, funny, thoughtful Niece Amy.

Donation protected
Hi my name is Christine, one of Amy’s aunties. This request is from every loving relative of Amy’s.
Amy is a beautiful daughter, niece, cousin and friend to many. She is the most loveable, kind, thoughtful, joyous contagiously happy soul you could ever meet. Amy has bone cancer in her leg at aged 34. She had a fall in January and fractured her femur in two places above the knee and that’s when the hospital found the cancerous tumour. Then whilst waiting for the chemotherapy to start a dog ran into her wheelchair and snapped the femur in two places putting Amy in absolute agony. She was rushed to Cheltenham hospital, then after a while transferred to Gloucester hospital, then transferred to Bristol hospital and eventually transferred to Freemans hospital in Newcastle to be closer to family that live in Middlesbrough and Freemans is one of the only hospitals that can treat her due to her rare blood disorder. Amy has a very rare blood disorder (diamond black fan anemia) which she has had from birth. It prevents her bone marrow from producing enough red blood cells. At present Amy is undergoing her second cycle of chemotherapy (5 weeks each cycle) before her operation to remove the cancer and replace her Femur with metal. Due to Amy’s rare blood disorder she has had to have several blood and platelet transfusions up to now. She has also had several infections and blood clots, so has been very poorly. Even through all that Amy still puts a smile on her face and tries to put a smile on others. She still has more chemotherapy, then her operation to hopefully give her a metal femur, then more chemotherapy and then finally intense physiotherapy. She was living and working in Cirencester and has now lost both her accommodation and employment.
We want to try and make a home for her that she can comfortably stay in when she isn’t in hospital and be able to afford her bills, which will be extremely difficult. She will need furniture, kitchen appliances, a bed, bedding, crockery, towels etc. Amy does not have the funds for any of the above, so we are hoping we can reach out to anyone that can help us raise the funds so that Amy can live as good a life as she can whilst going through this horrendous time.
Amy is the most wonderful, kind, loveable jolly person you could ever meet. Even with what she is going through she thought of others and had her beautiful long hair cut off and donated it to the Little Princess Trust. She has now lost all her beautiful hair.
She means the world to us and we want her to have a life filled with happiness.
If anyone can help with a donation you would be making a difference to a beautiful young woman’s life. Please let us help her with donations. All donations will go directly to Amy to help her settle in a home and get her life back.
Thank you to all that have read this and even if you can’t afford to donate please keep Amy in your thoughts.
