Our Beautiful Nicola Smith

The lovely Smith family are about to lose their beautiful Nicola (Poppet as she affectionately called). She’s 9 years old and has been battling brain cancer for the last 12 months and up until recently had been bravely fighting (and winning) against this insidious disease. Unfortunately, it is now clear her tumour is finally beating her. She’s currently in the care of the wonderful staff at Bear Cottage with her family by her side, loving her for the precious little time they have left with her. The Smith family are now left to prepare for life without their sweet girl, and we are wanting to take some of the financially strain away.

This journey is overwhelming in every sense of the word and this financial expense is not something you ever expect you will be faced with. Nicola is an amazing little girl; witty, clever and so full of life. She has a huge love of the Panthers NRL team and especially Nathan Cleary. She also has a quirky sense of humour and a love of the very inappropriate Jeffy Puppet and entertains us endlessly with his one liners. This family needs your support as they prepare to lose their Poppet. Please help this family to ease some of the burden as they support each other preparing for the loss of such a gorgeous little girl, their Nicola.
