Our beloved Aiden

We appreciate you taking the time out of your day to read our son’s story… On September 26, 2023, our 18-year-old son, Aiden, went out for a ride on his motorcycle with a few friends. We do not have all of the details as to exactly what happened but all we know for sure is each of his friends walked away from the accident with scratches and our son did not. He was taken to trauma ICU at Baptist Hospital, where he had an excellent team caring for him. He had no broken bones, no internal injuries, and only a few scratches, but he suffered severe head trauma. At 9:10 AM on September 28, 2023, our son passed away. He was an organ donor. Aiden was able to save and change so many peoples lives.

Thomas Aiden Fauber, known by everyone who loved him as Aiden. Our son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, and friend. An all-around beautiful soul. He was kind, generous, loving, and fun. He loved his family. He never wanted anyone to be upset. Aiden would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved riding his motorcycle, and felt free riding it. Growing up, he loved baseball, wrestling, video games, picking and cutting up with his parents, cousins and siblings. He just graduated High School and had his entire life ahead of him still. And in the blink of an eye he was suddenly taken from us.

As we attempt to try to comprehend and process what has happened, and what our new day-to-day lives will be like without him here with us, we also have to plan for and pay for his funeral and burial. So, in addition to losing our son unexpectly, trying to process and comprehend what happened and how we are going to live without him here with us, and having to plan a funeral, we are also met with the incredibly expensive cost of funeral and burial arrangements. We are not ones to ask for any kind of handouts, but who is ever prepared for something like this? Any donations provided, no matter how small, are sincerely appreciated. No parent should have to face the pain of burying their child.

Hold your kid tightly and love them unconditionally!!
