Our beloved brother, Pao Yang

Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Yang family, I hope you are in good health and spirits. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart as we recently lost a loved one and need financial assistance to cover the cost of their funeral expenses.
On the 28th of January 2023, Pao Yang, my beloved brother, took his last breath in the ICU at the very young age of 37 years old. He courageously fought for his life while having a failing liver, pneumonia, and internal bleeding. He is leaving behind 7 children, 6 of whom are still of school age.
His passing has left us all deeply saddened and grappling with a difficult time. As we try to come to terms with this loss, the added burden of paying for the funeral arrangements has only added to our stress.
In life, although he didn’t have much, he did what he could to make sure that his children always came home to a loving family, warm clothing to wear, and food on the table. Unfortunately, due to his sudden passing and the funeral in 2 weeks, he was underprepared for the immense cost of a traditional Hmong funeral.
With nowhere to turn to, I am humbly asking for any monetary support you can offer to help ease the financial burden of the funeral costs. Any amount, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us to give my brother the farewell he deserves.
I understand that times are tough for each and every one of us, and if you are unable to contribute financially, I would be grateful for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to read, and I look forward to any contribution that you may help with.
Sincerely, The Yang Family
***Update***
Dear Friends,
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your kind and generous donation in honor of our brother Lee Pao Yang. Your contribution has helped us to honor his memory, provide comfort and support to those affected by this difficult time, and went a long way to help with funeral costs.
Your donation was used to provide food for friends and family who attended the funeral. The rest will be spent in a few weeks for the “Tso Plig” or “Spirit Release” part of the burial practice. We appreciate your support in helping us to provide a fitting tribute to our beloved brother, dad, and uncle.
Please know that your contribution has made a significant impact on our ability to navigate this difficult time, and we are grateful for your kindness and generosity.
Once again, thank you for your thoughtful donation and for being a part of our community. Your kindness and support have brought comfort and solace during this difficult time.
With appreciation,
