Our beloved Jojo has passed away.

As many of you have heard, Jojo Sanchez lost his battle to COVID-19 on November 12. After working at Del Sol Medical Center for over 23 years, he had become a permanent fixture in the ER. He was loved by many and words can’t even describe how much he will be missed. Anyone who has ever worked in the ER knew who he was. If not by name, definitely by his mustache! He was a man who loved to smile and enjoyed his apple fritter and coffee anytime he could get his hands on one!
Jojo started his career as a paramedic in the ambulance and ended his career as a frontline worker helping and healing El Paso. We started this fund, not just to help his family in this time of need, but more importantly to honor his memory, and to thank Jojo for all he gave to our community.
