Our Beloved Joseph Kay Worthy

Hi, my name is Joseph Worthy, the son of Joseph Kay Worthy (Joey, Joe Kay). On Monday, October 30th, 2023, my siblings, Aj, Brandon, Rachael, Kayanne, Zion, Vivian, Victoria and little Brandon’s Dad passed peacefully in his bed. Please forgive me, as this is obviously new to all of us. With my dad’s sudden passing, we’ve been left to attempt to do what we’ve never done, which is live without him. If you have ever met our Dad. He was full of life and the life he lived, was so strong that his aura spread throughout his kids, his friends, his colleagues, his family. Those that have encounters with him, all share similar experiences with him. They’re all nothing short of genuine. One our Dad’s last dying wishes, was that he made it back HOME to be buried with our Grandmother, his MOMMA, his best friend in Greensboro, North Carolina. We’re unsure of the exact cost of these types of services. But with our Dad, we can foresee it will be multiple services between Washington and North Carolina. I can’t express enough how hard this has been to take in, let alone ask for assistance in such times. But, from one heart to the next. Big or small. My family and I appreciate every single person reading, sharing, contributing, their thoughts and prayers. They’re being heard, felt and continuous.
