Our Beloved Josie’s, Sophie’s and Mona’s crew

Due to the recent Corona Pandemic, the
beloved trio of bars that has become a
home to so many of us in the
East Village/Lower East Side, had to
temporarily close the doors of all three
locations. The bartenders and crew are
absolutely amazing and not only do they
make you laugh, make you feel at home,
make you feel like you are part of a
community, but they are all truly amazing
people with hearts of gold. I am a long time patron and want to support them as much as I can because they have made my life
happy and a heck of a lot of
fun. They have truly created a “family” in
Downtown New York City. 

***As a long time patron of all three
locations and as someone who lives 
in the neighborhood, I felt truly 
compelled to help these great people. We 
are nothing without community. I am in 
constant contact with the Manager of the 
locations and all bartenders have been 
made aware of this campaign. They will 
each receive an equal share of the 
earnings via their personal Venmo/Paypal
accounts. As soon as funds are released to me, via my checking account it will be              immediately distributed to

While the doors are closed and the
“community creators” we love so much are
temporarily out of work, I know just how
important it is for us as patrons and
“family” to step in and help out.
