Our Much Loved Rev. Glenda Parker Needs Our Help
Donation protected
Our much loved Reverend Glenda J. Parker, my mom, needs our help.
In the wee hours of Monday, February 15, Mom suffered a burst aneurysm and was rushed to the hospital, fighting for her life. By the grace of God, she got through emergency brain surgery and has regained consciousness and the ability to communicate. Praise God!!!
While we are exceptionally grateful for the extraordinary progress Mom has made, we know that she is not yet out of the woods and has a long road of healing ahead. Doctors anticipate she will be in the ICU for at least another two weeks. After that, she will have to spend some time at a rehabilitation facility and we anticipate that she will need months of outpatient physical, speech and occupational therapies. As a result, she will likely be unable to work for a significant period of time.
We need your help!
We know these are tough times, but anything you can contribute to ensure that Mom has all of the medical care she needs and that her home is there waiting for her when she is finally discharged would be greatly appreciated.
This GoFundMe is the best way to donate, but you can also send a check via the mail or a donation via Cash App. For mailing information or my Mom's $Cashtag, please click the "contact" button on this page to send me a message.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Please keep them coming!
Thank you so much,
Kristian
