Our beloved school, Peaceful Child.

Hi, my name is April and I am fundraising for Peaceful Child Education. Peaceful Child was the only school that ever opened their doors and hearts for my four-year-old son with autism. It has always been a challenge finding the perfect school for my little one. The moment I walked into their facility I knew that he was going to be safe, loved, and well educated. since attending Peaceful Child, my little one has completely exceeded all of my expectations! With the help from teachers and administration, he has learned how to write and found new love for reading. All of his motor skills have improved. In addition, my child has built self-confidence and self-control. This school has so many beautiful features from their amazing science room to their peaceful meditation moments. This environment has been the biggest blessing. As a mother, having your child completely accepted is something that cannot be replaced.

Peaceful Child Education is the first early childhood organization to focus on humane education. Humane education highlights the interconnectedness of human rights, animal protection, and environmental sustainability. By focusing on these concepts in early childhood, we are building a foundation with a base of compassion, empathy, wonder, creativity, critical thinking, and a love for all living beings.

Since 2020, Peaceful Child has been a safe space for children of all abilities. A place where children come to learn and grow to the best of their individual ability while being supported and loved along the way. It is truly a unique environment and deserves a forever home where they can continue to spread peace and kindness in the community.

This fundraiser is to help make that dream a reality and help more children find their safe space. In today's time, we all need compassion and empathy and our children deserve acceptance for who they are. I urge you to join us in creating this space. Their current location increased the rent to astronomical prices and this gem was unable to accommodate those prices. Rather than continue to increase tuition for hard-working parents, they made the difficult decision to close their doors until they find an alternative space.

The staff, parents, and most importantly, the children are heartbroken and devastated. We are coming together to ask the community for help.

The goal is to purchase a location in Miami, Florida that extends from the precious pre-k years through elementary. Thank you for helping make our world a better place. Every donation will help employ our teachers once again. Most importantly, our children of the future can have a safe place to learn and call home once again with Peaceful Child.
