Our Brother Jake and Family

Its not very often you find such a person who is kind, smart, caring and funny. Jake is all those things. And we are all a little bit better having him as our friend and brother. He is truly as special person. While Jake has been battling this cancer a little while now, still no one expects to deal with things of this sort this young in life.

Jake is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. From 09-10 he served as a Specialist in the 252nd MP Co in Cleveland, TN. He served the unit a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (91B). After returning home Jake was later promoted to Sergeant and served the rest of his time as a Non-commissioned Officer. SGT Bowlin was well known for his knowledge and attention to detail. He also approached his job with a humble confidence leaving those whom he served feeling assured the job was done correctly. Subordinates, peers and leaders showed a great deal of respect and appreciation for SGT Bowlin.

This gofundme is to be primarily directed towards any incidental costs that may need to be covered in the near future. Any remaining money will be given, in a reasonable way, to Jake's son, Jake (there's a lot of Jake's running around). Little Jake is 15 years old. That money will hopefully cover any future costs to lessen financial burdens moving forward.
