Our brother lost everything in a house fire
Donation protected
On July 9 my brother drove into town for less than a half hour, and when he came back home, his house had caught fire from a lightning strike. He lost his house, all his belongings, but most of all he lost his three beloved Newfoundland dogs.
My brother built his house from the bottom up with his bare hands and his whole heart was in that house. The dogs were his family. They meant everything to him. He has a little farm and he raises goats. He has cows and chickens and he is a self-made farmer. So if you can find it in your heart to donate anything, every little bit helps so we can at least make him comfortable until the insurance kicks in because he will be displaced. Thank you all! xo
Update:
On behalf of Mark, we wanted to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and generosity. A community of family, friends, neighbors and strangers have stepped up and surrounded our brother with the utmost care we could have never dreamed of but are most graciously thankful for. As he navigates through this tragedy please hold him in your thoughts and prayers. If you’d like to make a donation the gofundme is active for donations. RIP Jake, Jazzy and Baron.
Friday night July 14 at the little red barn brewers there will be a karaoke fundraiser! Stop by!
