My name is Ahmed Ali and I hope this finds you in the best of health and iman, although the purpose of my communication today is a sad one. It is with great sadness that I share the devastating news of the tragic passing of our beloved brother, Osama Marey.

On Thursday, August 31st a terrible car crash resulted in the death of Osama, a kind and compassionate soul, at the young age of 31. This unfortunate incident occurred while Osama was assisting a disabled motorist on the road. His willingness to lend a helping hand, even in the face of danger, exemplified his remarkable character. Osama was an amazing brother who always smiled and had so much love for his Deen and the Umma. He was a brother that Alhamdu Lillah, from what we saw is that he always put Allah first. Just on my last trip to Egypt, Osama reached out to see if there's anything he could do for my family or I all the way from the States. This is the type of person he was.

Osama leaves behind a wife and three young children, and it is crucial for us to come together as a community in this difficult time to provide them with the support they urgently require. On top of this tragedy is the fact that Osama had no immediate family here in the United States to lean on for assistance.

We are reaching out to you with a humble request for any help you can provide. The family is burdened with the unexpected expenses associated with arranging Osama's burial, and they will also need financial support to ensure their survival as they navigate the challenging road ahead. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in alleviating their suffering during this trying period.

We have set up a dedicated fund to collect donations on behalf of Osama's family.

If anyone makes it easy for the one who is indebted to him (while finding it difficult to repay), Allah will make it easy for him in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, and if anyone conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the Hereafter.
