Tony GoFundMe
We all know the person that shies away from asking for help — our brother Tony being one of them. However, he is outnumbered by his several siblings and we are getting the word out on his behalf. We so appreciate any help you can provide by donating and/or sharing!
Our brother Tony’s truck was broken into earlier this week, resulting in thousands of dollars worth of power tools stolen. His tools are his livelihood, his means to provide and survive, and we are devastated for him for so many reasons. Let us tell you why:
Tony is a contractor and one of the hardest working individuals you’ll ever meet. He is well loved and respected on the job site, is a natural leader, works 60+ hours a week, never misses a day, and you’ll very rarely hear him complain. He starts each morning with a good morning to everyone he passes. He knows how fortunate he is to be alive and healthy after a tough journey.
A few years ago, Tony went through a really rough period and nearly lost his life. While he was hospitalized, his landlord heartlessly emptied his house into a dumpster and stole all of his tools. While the police department was not able to prove anything, the landlord ended up returning a few things the following morning, however his power tools were not included. Having been a contractor for years, he was forced to start over in 2021 after thousands of dollars of tools were stolen - the first time.
Tony moved to Arizona for a fresh start and over the past few years, has been slowly repurchasing all the tools he needs He has been so proud of himself choosing to purchase a new tool almost weekly to once again get him back in a place where he owns all he needs to thrive in work.
Always respected and often recognized via promotions and added responsibilities at work, we hope all that know him near and far can help him stay encouraged by helping him yet again repurchase all that has been stolen.
Tony has worked as hard as he has for years solely for his daughter, Annabelle. She is the most important person in his life. He just signed a lease for a new house in Arizona as Belle was relocating from Chicago area to Arizona and he couldn’t be happier having his “Shorty” back under his roof. The fact that this happened within the same week they are moving has really put a damper on things as he has to spend his money to replace tools absolutely necessary for his job, but also attempt to furnish a new home. That’s where we come in!
If you know Tony, you have likely received encouragement from him, one of his huge hugs, a hilarious story, your home repaired or remodeled, random favors, and nothing but love. He befriends strangers and invites those less fortunate to join him for dinner. It’s time we show him what it feels like to be supported! Thank you for anything you’re able and willing to do to help him feel the love.
