Our bulldog Goose need emergency surgery

Last night we came home to our boy Goose screaming in pain on the floor and unable to move his back leg. He is now awaiting emergency surgery to repair his ACL with a bone graft that is going to cost in excess of $5500 & our pet insurance have said they won’t accept the claim. We have had top pet insurance with Bow Wow Meow (Medibank) for the last 5yr without making a claim. We have tried all avenues to get this surgery covered but regardless of paying them almost $8,000 over the time we have had cover with them they won’t cover the cost of this surgery.

If you’re lucky enough to know Goose, you know how special our boy is. Everyone who meets him loves him. He has had a profound impact on our lives. We rescued him at 2years old and we’re grateful for every day we have had with our beautiful bully.

We understand in the current climate people are under a lot of financial pressure, we’re in the exact same position & this unexpected cost with a baby on the way is a huge shock.
