Church Food Pantry Damaged By Fire
Donation protected
Hi my name is Crissy, I am asking for any help for my church JCF Ministries in Lexington NC. The church caught on fire on October 28. During the fire, our porch and ramp was completely destroyed. The fire destroyed the back door and all the electricity in our food pantry area, causing the power to be cut off in our church. In our food pantry area, our stand up freezers were ruined that held the food to give away, our flooring in the pantry area, and some of our shelves that held our canned foods were also ruined.
Our church has served and fed Davidson county citizens for over 12 years providing food for families twice a month and for emergency situations for families and individuals as needed.
Not only did this fire disrupt our food pantry, but it also is causing us not to be able to have our church services and our music ministry program. Any donations or help is greatly appreciated, as we will need new freezers, new flooring, electricity fixed, food shelves, a ramp, our porch, and much more .
