OUR COMMUNITIES - OUR CLUBS - OUR CARERS
Donation protected
St.Faithleachs GAA Club are hosting an all-county campaign during the month of May to raise money for front line workers during this COVID-19 pandemic.
We aim to complete 40,000km in a ‘Walk around the world’, with the help of a number of other GAA clubs throughout the county of Roscommon.
We have chosen an all-county non-profit organisation, County Roscommon Disability Support Group (RSG). All funds raised will go to RSG (rsg.ie), and we aim to raise €10,000.
RSG (Roscommon Disability Support Group) is an non profit organisation set up over 30 years ago for people with disabilities, by people with disabilities to provide a Personal Assistant, Home Support, Assisted Living Service and/ or associated services to people with disabilities and older people in their home, workplace or socially; and to aid and assist with the enhancement of the quality of life of all people, as appropriate. Due to COVID-19 their normal fundraising activity has to be put on hold, which in turn has a huge impact on both their staff and service users. They would appreciate any help we can provide during this crisis while they strive to continue to provide high quality trusted care to the most vulnerable in our society and county.
Please support our carers by donating what you can and getting out for a walk/run.
Please remember to adhere to government guidelines and stay within 2km of your home.
