In loving memory of our dad and friend - Richard

Richard Frederick Enarson (aka Mike) passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2023, in Markham, Ontario. Dad was such an energetic, sprightly 74-year-old who loved to show you how he could still balance on one leg and he was eagerly planning his future visits and travels to parts known and to connect with his people.

He and our beautiful mom, Linda, have been married for 53 years. They had seven children, born in different countries around the world, as well as 23 grandchildren and one great-grand child. Together, their lives were dedicated to Jesus, to the simple joy of giving their time and energies to others to spread love and faith. Dad was a great man of hope and faith through the hardest of times and was the greatest cheerleader to his friends and family through all the ups and downs of life.

Dad was a jack-of-all-trades. He could jump into any problem or task and get it done, which kept him so busy right up to the day that he was called home to his Heavenly reward. His sudden passing has impacted hundreds of people with whom he was often in contact with daily and weekly as he faithfully took the time to tell people he loved them and cared about them.

Friends have asked if they can send flowers or financial help towards the funeral and memorial costs and we are so very grateful for the overwhelming amount of love, kind words, and memories that you have shared with us. Your strength is helping us through. To provide you a way to send through your financial support at this time, we have dedicated and set up this fundraiser to relieve some of the immediate financial costs of his funeral and to support our mom Linda through this time .

Thank you for your kindness and thinking of our mom and our family. Your stories of dad, your reminders of his continuing legacy and his strong hope and faith are precious to us.

Dad called his little landscaping and handyman business "Precious Little". The tag line was "It takes precious little - to make us happy". And that was dad in a nutshell - happy and always celebrating the little joys of life.
