Our dear beloved Son, Brother, Father, Grandson, Nephew, and Cousin Daniel Broughton.
Hi, my name is Marilyn and on behalf of the family, I've started this fundraiser to help the family of a wonderful young man called Daniel, who was suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us, back to his Creator on Saturday, 23rd March 2024.
Writing this story is so strange because "We" still don't believe, Daniel is gone.
At the end of a normal week of work, chatting and meeting with family and friends, laying down plans for the week ahead, and looking after his beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Daniel put his daughter to bed, reading her a story and kissing her good night, on that Friday evening, also saying good night to his mum Sharon and went to his room. Sharon heard Daniel chatting as normal, on the phone late that night before going to sleep. When Sharon woke on Saturday morning her granddaughter was awake early, so she checked in on Daniel who was still asleep, believing he was having a lay-in Sharon got her granddaughter ready and spent some time with her downstairs.
Sharon noticed Daniel had still not been downstairs so she called out to him. On getting no response, she went to his room. Sharon realised her worst nightmare. Daniel had passed away in his sleep.
Daniel had his whole life ahead of him with so many plans and dreams for himself, his 3-year-old daughter, and his family.
The entire family circle and friends are devastated by Daniel's passing. The wait to lay him to rest is heart-wrenching particularly as a cause of death has still not been confirmed.
The family are grateful, and would like to utilise some of your generous donations towards a Trust Fund for Daniel's daughter.
Please let us all honor the amazing person Daniel was and also reflect on how much he was and still is loved.
Your donations are humbly and gratefully appreciated.
Thank you.
Marilyn.
