OUR DOG WAS SHOT BY THE POLICE IN OUR BACKYARD

I am a Marine Veteran and this all took place at my moms house:

Around 3pm on 7/27/23 JSO police department came to my moms house unannounced. They did not have permission to search the home. However, Officer 76081 shot my dog (King, Rhodesian Ridgeback) 4 times in my backyard as he was laying down. My two sisters were also in the vicinity while the shots were fired and so was I which is very dangerous. None of the officers provided first aid to my dog. I took him to the veterinarian hospital after providing first aid. No warrant was shown or issued nor was any arrest made. As of now King is in Capital Veterinarian Hospital receiving trauma care and has to stay overnight. Currently, we do not know who will be financially responsible but were given a claim number and risk management. I would like to press charges on that officer who fired those shots. We need help with the medical bills so they can perform surgery on King. Please pray for King and our Family anything helps thank you. King is also an emotional support dog and service dog.
