Please help! our dog Duchess was hit by a car

Donation protected
Hello, Our beloved Family dog 3 year old Duchess the English Mastiff was hit by a car in the early morning hours of Wednesday October 12th. She somehow escaped an open door, and ran into the street (from what we can tell from the ring camera) after our daughter's school bus. Whoever hit her did not stop , but two kind men came to her aid when they saw her on the side of the road. Duchess was alive but hurt badly. She had a dislocated front right elbow and back left hip as well as a deep wound that needed stitches and some fluid around her heart. Two different surgerys later and she can come home, with a long recovery ahead. We are over 16k in medical bills already, with rehab therapy that will be needed in the near future. Her size at almost 150lbs makes this so much more difficult, but is also the reason she lived. We are willing to do whatever it takes to heal our girl, she is the most loveable dog and a protector of our Children. We brought her home two weeks before our Son was born, and he was so distraught the days she was hospitalized we can't imagine him living without her. Anyone that knows her, including the amazing staff at VCA Aurora love her.
If you have it in your heart to donate, it would mean the most to this Mama her husband and two kids. It will give us the ability to look for further treatment options to make sure she gets to live the rest of her years in as little pain as possible.  Any amount in excess received after her expenses will be donated to the VCA animal hospital.

Thank you from the bottom of my children's hearts
