Friday June 21, 2019 Lewis was sent to a better place. Lewis would have been 30 years old in August he passed from an unexpected heart attack. Lewis was a remarkable human being, a husband, father, son, and United States Marine. Lewis deployed in 2009 to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, with 1st CEB H&S Company as a radio operator. Lewis, also deployed in 2010 to Musa Qala Afghanistan, as a radio operator for Charlie Company. Lewis, accomplished many achievements, along with being awarded the Combat Action ribbon, Global war on terrorism service medal, Afghanistan campaign medal, Presidential unit citation Navy, Sea Service deployment ribbon, National Defense service medal, NATO metal Afghanistan, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal, Navy unit commendation, meritorious mast.
Lewis leaves his dear wife Jennifer , and 3 kids - Avery (10), Lulah (8), Ayla (4). Everyone who knows Lewis can testify to his loving heart, always smiling and willing to help others. He was the most generous, loving, funny, caring person. His greatest devotion was to his family - he was a devoted husband to his wife and a loving father to his children. Lewis, was the sole provider for his family and worked very hard to care for those he loved. Words cannot describe the pain and loss his family is going through - we urgently ask to pray for the family.
1. Please PRAY for Lewis's family, especially his wife Jennifer, for the Lord to give her strength to weather this storm.
2. If you are led to help financially, please do so. It can be foreseen that the financial impact on the family will be deep and every little bit will help, it will be a blessing to the family. All funds will be directed to the benefit of Lewis's wife Jennifer and their children. If you know the family personally, feel free to support them directly.
