Our Farmers Our Pride

What has it meant “To be human, to be civilised”? As we understand it - “one’s humanity is
best at display while helping the unfortunate in need”. This basic act of selfless kindness is
at the foundation of being civilized.

Here we stand united as TeamUIA in a difficult time for all farmers who have been struck by
major periods of drought making it impossible for them to grow their crops. “The hand that
feeds us” is in trouble today. The severity of this situation has only worsened for everyone.
But we together can choose to be a part of this team of people who have taken it upon
themselves to help in any way we can.

We together with the help of supporting organizations and the support of many individual
supporters would like to welcome you to be a part of this Walk for farmers. Come join us on
the opening ceremony on the 22nd of September at 9a.m. for the first leg of this walk from
Parramatta to Town Hall. People are most welcome to join the walk at any given point that
they may choose. Donations (tax deductable), services rendered, and volunteers are most
welcome to come be a part of this movement as and when possible. This is a two-week long
event where we will be walking in support of our farmers from Sydney to Canberra. Anyone
and Everyone is welcome to come help however they can.
