Our Fathers Funeral Ronald Preston

My name is Sarina, and I’m the oldest daughter of Ron Preston.

On March 25, 2025, I received the heartbreaking and unexpected news that my father had passed away. I immediately got on the next available flight to be home in Windsor with my family, and since then, my sisters and I have been navigating the painful process of planning his funeral and managing everything that comes with the sudden loss of a loved one.

As many people know, when someone passes, there’s so much more to handle than just the grief. From funeral arrangements and service planning to contacting extended family and friends, managing paperwork, legal matters, and final expenses..it can quickly become overwhelming, especially during such an emotional time.

My dad, Ron, was a humble, hardworking man. He had five daughters, two of whom are still very young. He always did his best to provide, and he worked up until the day he passed, dreaming of one day retiring in peace. Right now, we’re doing everything we can to give him the beautiful service he deserves, but the financial burden is heavy. Funeral services, transportation, and related costs are expensive, and unfortunately, we weren’t prepared for something like this.

As of now, my sisters and I are still in the process of planning his service, but we will have a confirmed date and full information available by Monday, March 31. We want to make sure everyone who loved him has the chance to come together, honor his life, and say goodbye.

I’m reaching out for support to help cover the funeral costs and ensure my dad is honored in the most loving way possible. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering the cost of the service, burial/cremation, and any remaining arrangements needed to lay him to rest.
