Our Friend and Mentor Bob Chais

Hello, my name is Young Kim and like many of you I have the pleasure of calling Bobby Chais a friend and mentor. I don’t have to tell you that Bob is a kind and honorable man, one of those special people you meet once-in-a-lifetime. Throughout his life career, Bob has mentored many of you and I am proud to call myself one of his mentees, probably not the best but I hope he’s proud of whom I’ve become. For many of you, he’s helped you reach goals you never imagined and become successful beyond your wildest dreams.

Sadly, in recent years Bob has been struggling with his health and subsequently fallen on hard times. His physical condition has accelerated and because he’s been unable to sustain consistent clients, his financial resources have been depleted and is now in need of financial support. Although he currently receives social security benefits, the amount is simply not enough to keep Bob in a facility with people in his current state. The facility Bob is currently residing in is for elders well advanced in age and condition. This facility is not healthy emotionally and psychologically for Bob, it’s been really hard for him there. I hope the money we can all raise will get him in a facility better suited for him. He really needs our help.

There’s a group of us that wanted to open this account to help Bob with his daily needs and living arrangement. Bob doesn’t know we’re doing this, first of all we would have a hard time explaining to him what this online crowd funding platform is. Second, he would yell at us for doing this knowing how proud of a man he is. That’s just Bob.
