Our Friend Claudia Needs Help!

Claudia Dolph has been plagued with back issues for years. So much so, that she had back surgery in 2015. Last August, she was rushed to the hospital for a head injury, and was left with an $18,000 bill, thanks to the inept health insurance industry in this country.

Two days ago, Claudia woke up and couldn’t feel her foot. She was immediately admitted to the hospital and received an MRI. Unfortunately, the MRI showed that Claudia has severe damage to her spine, and needs spinal surgery. Although her new health insurance begins February 1st, her medical team believes it is imperative that Claudia receive this surgery NOW. If she waits, she is at risk of permanently losing feeling in her foot, and the ability to walk normally. For anyone, this would be terrible news. For someone like Claudia, who has trained and has been a dancer her entire life, this is devastating news. As it is, due to the surgery and recovery, she will lose work for several weeks. This is make it impossible for her to not only pay the current surgery bills, but also the previous medical bills, her rent, her food, etc. But, if she doesn’t do this surgery, she may never walk or dance the same again. So, as terrifying as it is to have to take the risk and go under the knife yet again, this is what she must do.

This is where we need YOU. Claudia is too proud to ask for help. But, she has always been there for me, and for all of her friends.
