Our friend Kristi Lynn

Hi, my name is Laurel McGillis and Kristi Lynn is one of my very best friends and she is going through an extremely difficult time. We would love if you would read her story and help out in any way possible.

Kristi Lynn knew her life was about to change when the doctor confirmed the mass on her right kidney was malignant renal cell carcinoma, with the only option being to completely remove her kidney.

Kristi will be spending a minimum of a month in a Skilled Nursing Facility to heal, directly after her surgery on, August 17th.

Five months ago she broke her left foot in 4 places and had to have a metal plate and 7 screws put in it, Ouch!! A couple of weeks ago, she broke her right ankle in 3 places and had surgery on both sides of her ankle last Friday. The doctors say this is the worst ankle break that there is (Trimalleolar ankle fracture) with torn ligaments going up between the fibula and tibia. On top of that, a bone was trying to break through skin, which has caused some internal tissue damage that can lead to major issues. Kristi had her third major surgery Thursday to remove her right kidney due to the cancer. Can you imagine having 3 major surgeries in less than 6 months, let alone 2 in one week?!?

By the grace of God, many people have stepped up to support her and we are beyond grateful. With that being said, she has more financial responsibilities than she can handle right now with everything that is going on and being out of work as she is currently out on leave. She had to quit her part time job temporarily, all of this putting her in a financial bind. Myself and several ladies are reaching out in good faith to ask for donations / contributions so she can pay rent, utilities, insurance and other necessary bills while she is recovering over the next 3-4 months. Any amount, big or small would be greatly appreciated. ❤️‍
