Our friend Stuart needs your help!

Last week after ongoing issues for the past 8 years, our friend Stuart sadly had to deal with the horrible reality of having his lower leg amputated.

If you know Stuart, you know that he is THE biggest supporter of Artists in this country. Stuart goes to every gig he can possibly make it to. He buys everyone’s merchandise, promotes our music and travels many miles all over NSW and beyond, usually doing it all by public transport, on CRUTCHES, to surprise us by turning up at the most unexpected of gigs. He has made supporting us artists his passion in life. He’s amazing! Even when I visited him in the hospital he was wearing his Hayley Jensen T-Shirt :-)

My name is Rebecca and I have been lucky enough to know Stuart for the last 20 years. I met Stuart when I was performing at a function in the piano bar at Minskys, Cremorne. Instead of mingling at the function Stuart happily sat at the end of the grand piano I was playing listening to me sing. We chatted during my breaks about music and the event and little did we know that chance meeting would set him off on a path of musical discovery where he now calls me, and many other artists in Australia and Nashville, his friends.

The coming months will be difficult for Stuart as he remains in hospital for the next 8 weeks to recover from surgery and starts his rehabilitation. As Stuart has supported me and my fellow singer/songwriters with great passion for 20 years we would love it if you could please help us return the favour and support him with a generous donation to help cover his rent, bills and ongoing medical expenses. He is currently on 'leave without pay' and is unsure when he will be able to return to work at this stage.

Stuart remains positive about his health and future and is dealing with all of this like a champion. Please help us take the pressure off him financially so he can remain focused on his health and recovery. We truly appreciate anything you can donate towards Stuart's recovery!
