Our Grandmother Barbara Smith

    This was not the outcome we were looking at a few days ago Nana went to Mercy on July 27th with a Urinary tract infection and fluid on her lungs as the days went by the doctors checked her heart and they had realized that the valve that was replaced 10 years ago was getting weak. 

Future surgeries for Nana were out of the question We had conversations of hospice which she understood and became okay with the idea of at home help . 

Wednesday August 2nd she had a great visit with her Grandkids and Great Grand babies , that evening around 5pm she declined pretty quickly she was not acting like her self. 

Doctors came back in and said that they did  not realize how fragile the valve really was they said that at this point is when we keep her comfortable and relaxed not even realizing that we would have to be planning Our Grandmother's funeral at the same time we are slowly letting her go we are at a point now where we are letting God do his work within her and it's all in his time she will go to be with the lord as well our Grandfather and many people that love her .

This was so quick and we were so unaware of how fast all this has taken place we didn't realize that the funeral expenses are not taken care of at all or even what those steps would take .

If you can help even just a little bit it would be a blessing beyond measure for our family 

As we sit and talk around her and speak about memories and we can only hope she is listening and talking to our lord and hearing our never ending I loves you's .
