I am Hamdan Obaid and I am writing to you with a heavy heart from G@ za. Many of you are probably familiar with the current sad situation in the country.

It pains me deeply to share that my family and I are currently stuck in a difficult situation, desperately searching for refuge and safety. As I write these words, tears stream down my face.

I am begging for help to save my family and myself from a nightmare that seems like it will never end. We have lost everything – our home, our security, our dreams, our memories, and many of my family members have been martyred.

My family has lost everything, their job, their home, their future. All that is left is you and the hope you instill in our hearts that there is a future ahead of us. For 15 months that have felt like 15 years, we have suffered all kinds of injustice, pain, loss, hunger, and bereavement, and the suffering is not over. We still have a long road to recovery ahead of us.

I place my hope in your hands, and I ask for your help to help us escape this tragedy before it is too late.
