Our hopeful future

In July 2018, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis and it has been one of the hardest things that Brian and I have ever had to deal with. From having a normal fun life of hanging out with friends, going out to dinner, and doing pretty much anything we wanted has turned into a life of being glued to the couch, emergency room visits, and making decisions no one in their twenty’s should ever have to make. Since being diagnosed in July I have had 5 surgeries. I have had Endometriosis removed, my left ovary removed, a cyst on my right ovary removed, and an unimaginable amount of adhesions also removed from my right ovary. It is also suspected that I have Adenomyosis as well as Endometriosis. After meeting with the OBGYN today after discussing my ongoing symptoms and issues that I’m still having on a daily basis, my only option is to get a complete Hysterectomy. For those of you that don’t know, Brian and I recently got engaged in February. With only being engaged a few months along with dealing with my diagnosis, we quickly had to have the talk about children. We both want nothing more than to have our own children and have a family in the future. Since a hysterectomy is in my very near future, we have been looking at the option of freezing my eggs so someday we can make that dream come true and have a family of our own. The doctor told me today that we are looking at least $10,000-$12,000 bare minimum that it would cost for us to freeze my eggs. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover any of it and we can’t afford it on our own. We are asking for help from anyone that is able to help us in anyway possible. Even if it is $2.00. We can’t thank all of our friends and family enough for the unconditional support and love while we are going through such a difficult time.
Thank you all,
