Our kind Terri Comer

Tragedy has struck our Eye Candy family, and your help is most humbly requested.

On Tuesday, March 14, the life of our Optometric Technician-our bubbly, curly haired, joyful Terri-was almost taken from us. Terri’s life has been forever changed by an act of incredulous violence, performed by the man who only looked like her loving husband, but was not at all the man who loved and adored her since their high school years.

Terri and John were high school sweethearts, together for 34 years and virtually inseparable. Just days ago, they happily celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. There really was such joy! However, for several weeks prior, Terri began noticing a change in her husband,

she couldn’t easily figure out. Though many things (including wonderful anniversary celebration) seemed normal, so many other things just did not. What she couldn’t have understood was that somethings psychologically dark was taking over her husband, not of his own will.

On Tuesday, March 14, Terri arrived at home to see a force unknown to her behind her husband’s eyes. In the next minutes, our Terry physically fought for her life, and watched in terror as John took his own.

It is unimaginable to think what Terri has been through, but the future is just as worrisome. In the wake of being forever changed by such tragedy, not only must Terry put John to final rest, but she will need to pick up the pieces in another apartment-first and last months of rent, costs associated with moving and so many more.

To help Terri with all the costs and to help her get back on her feet anew, we humbly, humbly ask for whatever contribution you can give to help. Even small gesture are appreciated and will add up. We, Eye Candy family, ask that you please share Terri story and hopes we can achieve our goals.

We will always remember John as a joyful and forever devoted to his wife and their beloved dog, Sparkle.
