Our Kora Needs Surgery!
Donation protected
Claire and I are so thankful for the amazing people who so graciously gave up their time to help with the search of Kora our 2 year old German Shepherd.
Kora was hit by a car in the early hours of Saturday morning. Through the amazing support of so many people we were lucky enough to locate her after extensive searching which lasted 30 hours.
Unfortunately Kora has sustained substantial fractures in both her radius and ulna of her front left leg. She is currently in SASH veterinary hospital and is being stabilised for 24 hours until she can be x rayed where we will have a better understanding of what surgery she will require.
Kora is obviously extremely important to both Claire and I, and we are so grateful to have her safe with the vets, however, this has come with substantial vet bills.
We have had an amazing outpouring of support and have been encouraged to create this go fund me so they could contribute in any way to assist with having Kora get the surgery she requires.
The current vet plan is for the 24 hours of stabilisation and sedation and is currently at $4,800 pending any altercations throughout the night. Although a quote of the surgery can’t be provided until she is stabile enough to get an X-ray tomorrow, we have been verbally quoted to expect the surgery costs to be an additional $8,000.
Any contribution would be so greatly appreciated.
We are looking into the VetPay payment plans.
