Our Lahaina home is gone

Aloha, dear friends,
I am not asking any of our friends on Maui who have already suffered enough.
But if you, out there, on the mainland or in Europe are willing to help us, we would greatly appreciate it.
My husband Doug (my Schnuckum) has lived in Lahaina, Maui for 40 years. It took him that long to pay off the home which we just lost in the Lahaina fire. A pile of ashes is all that is left.
Doug is a wonderful bass player … there are no gigs.
Our vacation rental (which survived) is our only income source but cancelations are pouring in and we have to refund a lot of money. Now. We do not anticipate bookings for future vacations anytime soon either.
We are safe here in Minneapolis but want to fly to Maui as soon as they allow people back into Lahaina.
If you wonder how you can help, if you want to help, please, give whatever you can.
We had to let go of a lot of things dear to us but are celebrating the fact that we are safe and better off than a lot of our friends and people in Lahaina.
And we are simply speechless. Still trying to comprehend.
Mahalo for your consideration and help.
