Our loved one, Katrina Smith

We did not expect the morning of September 14, to begin with losing our mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend - especially at the young age of 42. Katrina battled heart disease over the years, and has been to many doctors appointments, hospitals visits and awaited a heart transplant, which she was recipient three years ago. Nonetheless, despite her immense strength and joyous spirit, she is now resting peacefully.

For those of us who knew Katrina, we loved her comedic personality, God-gifted melodic voice, beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. She will always be remembered through each of her “Ladybugs” daughters Shimaya (20), Gabi (18), and Azah (16). They have been Trina’s rock throughout her journey until the very end and need continued prayers and support.

Family and friends are coming together to support the Smith family and help with costs related to funeral/memorial services and anything else they may need during this difficult time. Any amount would be graciously accepted and appreciated.
