Our lovely friend Sylwie

Hello, my name is Sallee and I live in Dersingham, West Norfolk. With Simon’s permission, I’m fundraising, along with fellow parents in my sons football team & many residents in Dersingham to try to help a wonderful family who right now are in need of prayers, extra time and some extra pennies to allow them to spend as much time together for as long as they can.

Sylwie is 42 & has recently been diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately it has spread to many places within her body, meaning her battle is going to be a difficult one.

Sylwie is facing it so bravely and is determined to fight to try & kick this evil disease into touch and we are all right behind her. The treatment starts next week and we all know it’s going to be gruelling but we know she’s going to give it everything she’s got! We are literally praying for a miracle & we also don’t know how long she has to try and beat this.

Simon & Sylwie have been together for 20yrs (married for 13yrs) and have two lovely boys - Charlie & Tommy, aged 12yrs and 4yrs. They live in Dersingham, a lovely Norfolk village near Sandringham. Sylwie is a devoted wife & mother and none of us can imagine what she is going through mentally at this time and simultaneously keeping a brave, loving face for her two boys & Simon, all of whom she adores. They are literally her world as she is theirs.

All donations raised will be given directly to the family to enable Simon to have some time off work for the endless hospital appointments coming their way and to be able to be there for Sylwie without worrying about having to have an income coming in. It may also allow them to create some wonderful memories together.

THANKYOU to each and every one of you who donates to this cause, it’s impossible to know how we would feel if we were in their position, a position many other thousands of people sadly find themselves in every day.

However, with the financial support mankind can give, it at least gives us hope that we can all unite to support each other when we have too.
