Our mom, Dori Rota, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, which has metastasized to her liver and lungs. Her oncologist used the word "incurable."
He does not know our mother.
She is the strongest woman in the lives of everyone around her. No one has a more positive and can-do attitude.
Our mom has spent her entire life doing for others. She doesn't ask for return favors. Now we are asking a favor for her. Right now, money is tight, and the treatment she needs will have to come from holistic medicine, which is not covered by insurance. Plus, she has to pay a $7200 deductible for the expensive tests, hospital and doctor visits she has already had.
Her plan is to work with a holistic, integrative MDs in West Los Angeles and Irvine for High-Dose Vitamin C IVs, Ozone IV, and several European protocols. The oncologist is only offering chemo to give her an extra year or so.
It will be up to holistic medicine to save her life.
Our mom has been educating the public for many years about the benefits of biological dentistry and holistic medicine. She and her husband, Dr. James Rota, even wrote an award-winning book about holistic health and have changed the lives of many. She started a non-profit to administer CE credits so that dentists could earn CE for biological dentistry. She runs a free consumer resource website (TALKInternational.com) about biological dentistry and holistic approaches to health. Not many people know this, but she had just been accepted to law school a week before her diagnosis. She had planned to use her law degree in holistic health advocacy.
She is confident that she can shrink those tumors by alternative means! She says she will have an amazing story to tell!
