Our Mom, Sherell.

First off, thank you for taking the time to read this. Our names are Makia and Asante Brown and we lost our Mother, Sherell Brown-Cole, early this morning. Although she had been sick for many years, it was still unexpected. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure life insurance for her.

All who knew her would describe our Mother as witty, intelligent, compassionate, kind and willing to lend a hand to any who needed it. She raised us on her own working two full time jobs until she met her husband, Chris. She enriched many lives as a daycare teacher/director who many still remember the mark she left on them. She would later endure many procedures and illnesses including a quadruple heart bypass, a kidney transplant that failed through no fault of her own, kidney cancer, a severe retroperitoneal bleed and end stage renal failure requiring dialysis.

We humbly ask that you donate if possible or share our page so that we can give a great person a great send off. She is the most deserving woman we know and it would mean everything to us. Thank you again and God bless!
