Our mom’s journey with pancreatic cancer
Donation protected
My brother, Mason Artz, and I are making this post about our precious Mom. She is the sweetest, most kindest, big hearted person, I have ever known. In November she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Our family is still in shock about this, it’s a lot for us to all take in, because why? She went to the ED with abdominal pain, on a Saturday. Tests, and scans determined this diagnoses. She is being treated here, and at MD Anderson, in Texas. She flies with Scott to MD ANDERSON on a regular basis. Her stays there are for a few days, they get a rental car and hotel. She started her chemo here in town, after each chemo treatment, she goes home with a chemo pump for 48 hours. Chemo is once every two weeks. On a regular basis she and our dad will go back to Houston for a CT scan, labs, and consultation to see if it is shrinking. The doctors are hoping it doesn’t spread so they can do surgery. They also will be removing her spleen. Our mom would give the shirt of her back for anyone, and do anything for anyone, and always does anonymous acts of kindness. She is off work, and has a great support system in her family and friends. We Pray for a speedy recovery, and that this works. We have attached a Go-Fund-Me page for any donations to help our Mom through her life changing journey! If you can not donate, just share, and she would be more than thankful, for endless prayers! ♥️
