Our Mother Graciela

We are deeply saddened to share the news that our beloved mother, Graciela Torres Bernal, has peacefully passed away on 8/25/23 at the age of 74. To say she was beloved is not enough to attribute to the countless ways she impacted our lives through her generous love and attention. Her happiness was definitely found in loving others.
She is also remembered for a being resiliently strong woman of God and that was exemplified by demonstrating God’s love to those around her. She faithfully lived and devoted her life to please her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Although her departure has left us heartbroken and with a tremendous void in our lives, we have the assurance that she is no longer suffering, but on the contrary, we are confidant she is rejoicing and in the presence of the God.
“But we are of good courage and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8)
“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)
She will always be remembered for her docile, gentle and loving demeanor as well as her kind gestures and acts of service. Her name ‘Grace’ beautifully captured her true essence.
Today we humbly ask our family, friends and all those who also loved and cared for our mother and family for any monetary assistance you’d like to bless us with. We are grateful and appreciative of any amount which will help us lay her to rest, of course no amount is ever too small. Your contributions will go to cover funeral/memorial costs as well as medical bills. We thank you for your love and support and we would also benefit from your prayers at this time. <3
Please also consider sharing this post on behalf of the Bernal Family.
