Our Mother is Suffering ...

"This is NIVETHA SIVAKUMAR, currently working here in Sydney with my 5-year-old toddler on a 482 Work Permit VISA for the past year. My mother, PARIMALA PADMANABHAN, who came to visit me last month for a few weeks, suffered a massive heart attack on 20th June and is currently admitted in WESTMEAD HOSPITAL, Ref. MRN 5452313. She went into cardiac arrest, and after undergoing an angiogram and having stents placed, she could not stabilize. She is now on ECMO and a ventilator to keep her alive.

She is still under extensive life support, and her lungs and kidneys have started to deteriorate, necessitating continuous dialysis. She remains in the ICU for continuous monitoring. The daily cost of her treatment is $6500, and according to the doctors' advice, we need to be here for 3 more weeks. These costs are in addition to the charges for the angiogram performed on 21/06/2023.
