Snuggie the Snug Bug
Our baby, Snuggie, is in really rough shape right now.
As you may know, soon after we rescued him, he began limping and that limp progressed to a second leg, which lead to the diagnosis of an infection that was eating his bones, which has left him permanently handicapable.
He goes through growing spurts, which require pain management, but each time, he has adapted to his grown with a few bones and hip unattached, and has seemed relatively healthy and happy - at least enough to think he’s top cat, tough enough to interrogate the other, much larger, cats of AnderHaus.
But - this week, he seemed to be going through another growing spurt and was dealing with pain, but it seemed to get more significant than usual.
This week, we took him to the vet and discovered a huge abscess on his leg - that ruptured in the exam room.
He is now dealing with daily vet visits to deal with treatment and or an extended stay at the vet (which we simply can't afford).
It really sucks at times like this to have to "play God" and make decisions on what you are willing to do for a loved one, based on money - so -
Many people have reached out to us to let us know that Snugs (and his videos and / or feed //www.instagram.com/snugsthesnugbug/ ) have brought them happiness, so if you would - kindly consider donating to this little guy, as he tries to make it back to 3 1/2 good legs, and Snugging acorns again.
