Our niece, Vanessa would be grateful for your help

As a toddler, this precious young woman had her life altered in a way even the strongest of us would be challenged to recover from. Although Vanessa witnessed the murder of her mother, she was raised by family who rushed in to provide for her every need. As you can imagine, our niece struggles to produce a life of full independence. Despite the odds, she escaped from more than a decade of an emotionally and physically abusive and drug addicted husband, and is now attempting to build a life of her own.

The most immediate need is her share of rent, which is due in early February, and if not paid, will render her homeless. Vanessa is job hunting daily, and is on foot, since she does not have a car.

Our goal is to help Vanessa with at least three months worth of rent and expenses, and the purchase of a cheap car as she continues her job search.

Her smile is warm and her heart is gentle; her attitude remains upbeat and one of gratitude, even while facing the possibility of ending up on the street. Many of us cannot even fathom this situation. A tragic set of circumstances has been thrust upon her, yet Vanessa refuses to give up. A little financial generosity (and prayers) will be life changing for her. It will buy her time to get back on her feet while she continues to rebuild her life.
