Our Pal, Kathy O'Brien, Needs Our Help!

We are contacting you to support our dear friend, Kathy O'Brien.

The year 2022 has been a devastating medical year for Kathy, starting with a Memorial Day heart attack, requiring surgery, stent placement, and extensive time in the cardiac ICU. This heart attack occurred the day BEFORE her Medicare kicked in so ... no insurance coverage.

While recovering from the heart attack, in June of 2022, she was diagnosed with throat cancer. She started radiation treatments in the following months at Cyberknife, a cancer treatment center in Phoenix.

She has exhausted her life savings trying to control her expenses and medical bills, but they keep mounting.

Kathy moved to Prescott Valley in 2020. She has always been there to lend a hand with her generosity and kind words. She works as a mortgage loan officer and, unfortunately, was in a gap with her insurance coverage when her medical crisis started. She needs our help to cover some of these medical expenses. Her current employer has so kindly modified her job duties until her voice is restored so she can financially get back on track and have full medical coverage insurance. The job modification is because she hasn't been able to speak which is imperative when talking with customers about their mortgages.

We are reaching out to you, our friends and loved ones, to ask for your help in easing her financial burden without fear of losing everything she has worked so hard to obtain. Anything you wish to contribute will be greatly appreciated. She is so overwhelmed right now and needs our help, and the medical bills keep coming in! (Today on 12/6, Kathy received another round of unpaid medical bills by insurance she owes, so we changed our goal.) Your generous contribution will help get her back on track and stay afloat in this rough economy.
